Wars have always been a part of human history. Human history without war is incomplete. Wars have played an important role in shaping the human history with its side effects affecting the nations, geographies, geopolitics and much more. The history of wars dates back to ever since nations existed.

The first said war recorded in the human history dates back to 2,700 B.C, fought in Mesopotamia now known as Iraq and Iran between two nations of Sumer and Elam. The possible explanation of the war is believed to be the reason of human greed for resources to survive. The evolving human society needed to switch survive from hunting to agriculture and it is probably the reason for the first war which happened.

The troops led by King Kish Enmebaragesi of Sumer captured the land of Elam and collected the weapons of their troops as war spoils.
